It’s Never Too Late…
“It is never too late to be what you might have been.” (a George Eliot quote).
I say: No matter your age, you have got to believe; it’s never too late!
Others say:
”I’m too old to do that!”
“You can’t teach an old dog new tricks”
“It is what it is…I’ll live this way the rest of my life”
You might have even said those things!
Where I live in Southwest Florida there are a lot of older people. I am one of them. So is my husband. We are accustomed to seeing old people everywhere!
Recently, during a stay in Chicago, I was shocked to see so many young families…kids were at every table in the restaurants! Where I live, I bet restaurants keep one or two high chairs available…in Chicago each restaurant must have dozens!
Seeing all those young families was a delight! Sometimes when I go out to dinner near my home, at 69 I’m one of the youngest patrons in the place.
Yes, lots of oldsters. But, there is a lot to do in southwest Florida. Anyone who wants to be active certainly has the opportunity.
Beach yoga is a big deal here. Sunrise and sunset yoga, on the beach. We bring our towels or small blankets…
